Teacher Trainings 

GYROTONIC® Manhasset Physical Therapy is an easy 40 minute train ride from NYC  Penn Station to Manhasset station and a 5 minute walk to the studio.  You can visit Manhattan whilst doing the training in Manhasset!

GYROTONIC® Applications for the Shoulder Girdle

with Specialized Master Trainer Rita Renha

This brilliant course was developed by Physiotherapist, Paul Horvath who has utilized the Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis methods with orthopedic patients at the Rheintalklinik in Bad Krozingen, Germany. Rita Renha's insightful teaching style will instill Gyrotonic principles within the specific programming of this course. Participants will learn and apply the specific movement sequences designed to safely address clients' neck and shoulder concerns. 


Course Dates:

Friday March 22nd - Sunday March 24th, 2024 


12pm - 6pm Friday 

10am - 4pm Saturday and Sunday

Course Fee: $550 tuition + $200 Non-refundable Deposit/Studio fee.

Prerequisite: Gyrotonic Level 1 training.

Gyrotonic Pre-training

The pre-training is open to clients interested in learning more about the Gyrotonic® system and / or are interested in becoming a Certified Instructor.

This 6 Day, 30-hour course provides a foundational understanding of the Gyrotonic level 1 exercises and prepares students physically for the Gyrotonic Level 1 Foundation Course.  Students focus on gaining experience, and developing a personal understanding of the exercises on the Pre-Training exercise list.

Students must have a clear understanding of the Gyrotonic level 1, progression 1 exercises and should have taken a minimum of ten or more classes with a Certified Gyrotonic Trainer.
